Talk on AI and Medical Imaging at INFONOR 2025

Denis Parra was invited to Arica to deliver a keynote lecture at INOFOR 2025, the XVI International Conference on Computing and Informatics of Northern Chile.

In his talk, he presented the ongoing work at the intersection of AI and medical imaging carried out at iHealth and CENIA, to an audience of more than 150 people who filled the auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tarapacá (UTA). He also had the opportunity to see interesting research projects from students of northern Chilean universities, as well as invited talks from researchers from Peru, Ecuador, and Mexico.

During his visit, he also explored the Chinchorro Museum, home to the world’s oldest mummies.

Denis expressed his gratitude for the invitation and the hospitality, and hopes this conference will continue to grow. He also looks forward to returning to Arica in the future.
